new thesis idea
So I changed the scope of my thesis. I decided to keep playing with the idea of repurposing paper, but I would like to abandon the idea of collecting people’s waste, because I realized that I am not so interested in this social and collaborative dimension any more. Nonetheless I don’t want to totally get away from the subject, but rather I would like to approach it in a different way.

The idea I have for my thesis is a project about the death of paper as a medium for information and personal expression, as it is being replaced by digital technology. The project is at the intersection between art and play and it will take the form of an installation for a public space, a recycle bin for paper that will collect all the items submitted by passers-by, creating a digital collection of
